Far East GeoTegrity has reached another important milestone in intelligent pulp molding technology.
The project “SD-A CNC Intelligent Pulp-Molded Tableware Production Equipment and Products,” submitted by GeoTegrity Ecopack (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., received a Gold Medal at the 11th International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN 2026.
The award certificate was presented to GeoTegrity Ecopack (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. and the project contributors Su Binglong, Su Shuangquan and Su Yanhuan. The competition was held in Toronto, Canada, on August 29, 2026.

International Recognition for Pulp Molding Innovation
iCAN brings together inventions, technologies and innovative projects from companies, research institutions and inventors around the world.
The Gold Medal recognizes the innovation and industrial application value of Far East GeoTegrity’s SD-A CNC intelligent pulp-molded tableware production equipment and the sustainable foodservice products manufactured using the technology.
The project addresses several practical challenges in molded-fiber tableware production, including production efficiency, process integration, energy consumption, automation and product consistency.

What Is the SD-A Pulp-Molded Tableware Production Equipment?
The SD-A equipment combines CNC control, pulp molding technology and automated production processes for manufacturing plant-fiber foodservice packaging.
The technology can support the production of:
molded-fiber plates and bowls;
clamshell food containers;
takeaway food packaging;
food trays;
pulp-molded cup lids;
cup carriers;
customized molded-fiber products.
Depending on the product design and production requirements, bagasse pulp, bamboo pulp, wood pulp and other plant-fiber materials can be used.

Energy-Efficient, Trimming-Free and Punching-Free Production
Traditional molded-fiber tableware production may require secondary trimming or punching after forming and hot pressing. These additional processes can increase equipment requirements, labor, material handling and production time.
Far East GeoTegrity’s LD-12 and SD-A series focus on energy-efficient, trimming-free and punching-free production.
By coordinating equipment structure, mold accuracy, forming technology and process control, the production system is designed to reduce secondary processing steps and simplify the overall manufacturing workflow.
Potential production benefits include:
fewer post-processing procedures;
reduced material handling;
improved production efficiency;
greater product consistency;
lower dependence on manual processing;
easier integration with automated handling systems.
Actual production performance depends on the product design, mold configuration, raw material formulation and operating conditions.

More Than a Machine Manufacturer
Founded in 1992, Far East GeoTegrity has developed an integrated business covering pulp molding machinery, molds, production processes and sustainable food-packaging products.
The company can support customers with:
individual pulp molding machines;
automated production lines;
product and mold development;
production process support;
equipment installation and commissioning;
operator and technical training;
complete turnkey plant solutions.
This equipment-to-product capability enables Far East GeoTegrity to evaluate machinery and production processes under actual manufacturing conditions.

A New Milestone for Sustainable Manufacturing
The iCAN 2026 Gold Medal represents international recognition of Far East GeoTegrity’s continued investment in intelligent pulp molding equipment and sustainable food-packaging technology.
